Olle grew up in a very artistic and musical family. As a child she learned the transverse flute, but very quickly she shared her passion for the bagpipes with her father with whom she went to take bagpipe lessons in Brussels with Jean-Pierre Van Hees. When the opportunity arrived to serve as an apprentice in the workshop of Remy Dubois, she chose to focus entirely on learning how to make this instrument, but continued to present herself in musical training.
