I still consider myself a self-taught maker. Perhaps because the imposter syndrome haunted me, even though my customers were ordering instruments from me from all corners of the world, for quite some time. But it wasn't quite like that, I didn't wake up one day as a fully-formed pipe maker. It happened gradually, and it was my encounters with unique people and makers of their craft that shaped me as a craftsman and musician....
