For those who don’t about the Ceccola Polifonica, there is an article in Chanter Spring, 2014. Do check it out as I am not going to explain about the instrument and its history in this article. https://bit.ly/Chanter259
I started playing bagpipes in October 2000 at a workshop week-end in Germany at “Brensbach”. I went back there for years as it was my only way to get more knowledge and music for my bagpipe playing. I first played a Hümmelchen by Jürgen Ross, then later on a Cornemuse d’Etudes by Olle Geris. I remember there were often some members of the group Oni Wytars there, giving workshops in early music, as well as Sephardic songs, percussion and improvisation. It was there that I first met group member, Pierino (Peter Rabanser).
