Kadri Allikmäe is an Estonian bagpipe and recorder player who did not start playing until her mid-30s. In 2024 she released an album “Torupillikirjad”

(Estonian Bagpipe Patterns) - reviewed in Chanter, Spring, 2025. An animated video was made for the tune “Takistustest läbi” (“Through the obstacles”) that shed light to the issues of mental health and depression and aimed to contribute to suicide prevention.
