Interview with Hevia

The Asturian gaita has been a little absent in Chanter over the years and this article hopes to contribute to filling the gap with an interview with its most famous exponent, Hevia. We also hope that we can add more articles on the Asturian gaita in future issues (as well as resources on the website), including on how it differs from the Galician instrument, as well as on the theme of electronic pipes which also come up in the interview.
