The English Greatpipe was developed by Julian Goodacre and has the external features of Chaucer’s miller’s bagpipe. There are no surviving historical instruments. They are made in a variety of pitches and work well in harmony. They have a bright, stiking presence and a unique sound, which the miller would probably recognise!
Our gallery is currently under construction. We’ll add more information soon.
